Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology of

Universidade Nova de Lisboa, worked for eight years in the construction industry

(Engiarte Engenharia e Construções SA). The closure of the construction company she worked for and her long experience of volunteering in Mozambique drastically changed her life, leading her to embrace her passions - fine arts, jewelry and ceramics. She trained in jewelry at Escola Contacto Directo in Lisbon and professional ceramics courses at CENCAL in Caldas da Rainha, becoming a professional in these practices, of which she is a trainer. In October 2017, she opened her own studio in Lisbon " Mitó Creative Site " where she holds several workshops in her areas of activity. She was a ceramics teacher at the Senior University of the Parish Council of Areeiro from 2018 to 2023.
